With a 78 mm installation depth, this subwoofer is the ideal problem solver for special installations. A particularly flat subwoofer should of course also sound good and must be robust. This is why ESX QUANTUM QXS subwoofers use special and very hard membranes made of the composite materials glass fiber and carbon. The woofer has a 40 ounce magnet and is driven by a 50 mm 4+4 ohm double voice coil, which is wound very long.
